To work Tunisian puff stitches, start with a basic foundation row that is a multiple of 2 st +3.
As usual, skip first vertical bar on each row.
Row 1: *YO, skip next stitch, work tks (tunisian knit stitch), repeat from * across, close normally (ch1, yo and pull through two loops on hook until you get back to the start of the row).
Row 2: skip 2nd vertical bar, (YO, work tks) 3 times in next stitch to start Puff Stitch, * skip next st, (YO, work tks) 3 times in next st, repeat from * across to last 2 stitches, skip next st, work tks. Do not close normally! To close: Ch2, *YO and draw through 7 loops on hook to close puff stitch, ch1, repeat from * across to last 2 loops on hook. YO and draw through 2 loops on hook.
Row 3: Pull up a loop in horizontal bar of next stitch and in each stitch across to the last stitch, work tss (tunisian simple stitch) in last stitch, close normally.
Note: In the video, I left off the last ch stitch when closing the puff stitch row!
