The Glove You’ll Love Fingerless Gloves

This one really is a glove I love, and I hope you will love it too! The Glove You’ll Love is the third glove in the 2024 Year of Gloves Pattern set. If you’ve purchased the e-book bundle on Ravelry, this pattern has already been added to your collection! Wondering what the Year of Gloves is all about? This year, I’ve designed 12 brand new fingerless glove patterns, and I’m releasing one each month all year long. Get a head start on Christmas gifts, or just make a fun variety for yourself. There’s something for everyone here!

This month’s glove is worked lengthwise and then sewn together. The thumb portion is created with crochet short rows (they’re a little complicated because of the lacy pattern for this one, but don’t fret, there’s a video tutorial to help you out!). About the Glove You’ll Love

For March I wanted something a little Feminine and Springy to welcome in Spring and say farewell to fall! I love the stitch pattern on this glove. It reminds me of the Jasmine Stitch, but easier and faster (and less of a yarn hog). The gloves use a three-row repeat with short row thumbs. I encourage you to check out the video tutorial below, especially for the thumb section! The pattern is available for purchase on Etsy or Ravelry, or you can get the complete 12-glove set on Ravelry at a discounted price!

Materials

Sizing

Gloves are sized based on the craft yarn council guidelines and fit from 7″ to 9″ when measured around the four finger knuckles (women’s small to men’s large). Because of the pattern repeat of these gloves, the pattern is written in only three sizes rather than five. If in doubt, size up.

I hope you love these gloves as much as I do (they are sooo squishy and comfy!). I’d love to see your creations – you can share with me on instagram @kickin_crochet!
