The Braided Rose Hat and Gloves have been a labor of love. As soon as I finished the Braided Rose Cowl a few months ago, I knew that it needed to become a set! I’m happy to announce that all three patterns are now available, and you can purchase them as a set for a discount (see below)!

About the Braided Rose Gloves
The Braided Rose Fingerless Gloves are written for women and come in Small, Medium, and Large sizes. Each size is written out separately to make it easier for you to work the pattern. These gloves were thoroughly tested in every size to make sure you can have confidence that the pattern won’t let you down. My testers have raved about these gloves. Some were surprised that the large was big enough for them. A few have already made a second set!
They’re designed to be tight-fitting and feature cables on the back and sides with a smooth, non-bulky palm.
About the Braided Rose Hat
The Braided Rose Hat features the same distinct cable pattern as the cowl and gloves. It is written for sizes Adult large (23″), Adult small (21″), Child (19″), and Toddler (17″).
This hat pattern is worked in a cylinder with turned rounds, then joined at the top. Add a pom pom for some flair!
Materials
- Each pattern uses up to 100g/400y (one skein) of fingering weight yarn
- Size F crochet hook – I love these Odyssey hooks from Furls Crochet!
- Optional – a pom pom for the hat
- A yarn needle for sewing/weaving in ends
The Braided Rose Set
You can also purchase all three patterns in the Braided Rose Set (the hat, cowl, and fingerless gloves) together for a 20% discount!

I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I have! It makes a great gift set, and at one skein per project, they are great stash-busters! A limited quantity of one-of-a-kind crochet kits are also available for purchase! Each kit contains three skeins of locally sourced, hand-dyed fingering yarn (the same brand I used to make the samples), all three patterns (the hat, cowl, and gloves), and a hand-made faux fur pom pom. Check out the kits here!
