One of my best friends just had a baby, but unfortunately lives all the way across the country. So, I designed this beauty for her and her baby and sent it to her – a matching set of Baby Blanket and Scarf!
I’ve been experimenting a little with hairpin lace and came up with this fun pattern. I always try to make baby blankets with interesting textures for baby to explore and this one has plenty of little holes and lacy sections perfect for baby’s little hand to grasp. I loved the lacy puff stitch shells so much I decided to make a matching scarf as well. It’s now available in the shop as a Mommy and Me Pattern Set (the blanket and the scarf) or just the scarf alone for a slight discount, for those who aren’t on the lookout for baby gifts. 🙂
Unfortunately, the teal color tricks my camera into thinking it’s blue – imagine it as a beautiful deep teal color for the border!
