Allison Hairpin Lace Scarf

$5.00

I love the lacy look of this scarf! The finished size is approximately 5.5″ by 70″ for the scarf. This scarf uses hairpin lace and will thus require a hairpin lace loom (available at most craft stores like Micheals and Joanns).

The yarn used was Caron Simply Soft. You will need 1 skein each of Plum Wine, Pagoda, and Soft Pink, a size I crochet hook, a hairpin lace loom, and a yarn needle for weaving in ends. I have included a PDF tutorial for creating hairpin lace, but you can also reference the free online tutorial, which includes a video.

Please note that the dark color is actually a teal though it looks blue in the picture, please reference the color swatch picture to see a more true color.

This pattern is also available as a Mommy and Me Blanket and Scarf set, perfect for baby shower gifts, here.

Stitches Used:

chain
slip stitch
