One of the fun things about Tunisian Crochet is that you can make it look like knitting! Be aware, however, that Tunisian Knit stitch will make a fabric that is THICKER than traditional knitting so you cannot just substitute Tunisian Knit Stitch for traditional knitting!
To work a knit stitch, work a foundation row as normal.
Skip the first stitch, then insert your hook from the front to the back between the two vertical bars. Pull up a loop. Continue to pull up loops between the two vertical bars all the way across the row. Close the row as normal: Ch1, then YO and pull through 2 loops on hook until you get back to the start of the row.
