This listing is for a PDF pattern for Geometric Patchwork Tunisian Baby Blanket. The pattern comes with instructions and pattern charts. This pattern uses ch, sc, hdc, ss in standard crochet (US terms), and tks (tunisian knit stitch) and tfs (tunisian full stitch) in tunisian crochet. Knowledge of these stitches is assumed and not explicitly explained in the pattern – however, if you have trouble with them, I am always happy to help!
Tunisian Crochet hook Size I with expanding cable.
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends.
Caron Simply Soft Yarn (6 oz/170g/315yard per skein) or similar in your choice of colors: # of balls necessary (recommended):
A (grey): 1 (2)
B (soft blue): 1 (3)
C (white): 2 (3)
D (blue mint): 1 (2)
E (teal): 1 (1)
F (ocean): 2 (3).
Total yarn weight of finished product: 713g, finished size: 39″x33″.
Note that I have more balls of yarn recommended than are strictly necessary because you will have the same color attached in multiple places on the blanket at the same time, and it is much easier to do this with multiple balls of yarn. You can get away with fewer if you are willing to split yarn balls or work from both ends at once, which is difficult to do without tangling.
